Your First Visit

At your first visit, we require that you complete a Patient History Form. This questionnaire will be kept on file and referred to at each visit. You can print this out or feel free to come 5 minutes early for your appointment to complete this.

Please bring along any previous x-rays or treatment information that you may have.

Proper Oral Hygiene

Most of the dental diseases are preventable, at a minimum of cost and effort. Generally, dental diseases progress slowly. Therefore, treatments can be postponed and accumulated without symptoms for a considerable time. Preventative precautions need to be taken from early in childhood. Preventing tooth decay and gum disease is the best method to lower the dental fees. Make regular check ups with the dentist will keep the cost down in the long run.

Dental fees are not subsidised by the Federal Government and there is no recognised fee schedule like Medicare. The best way to lower your dental costs is to prevent dental decay and gum disease. Regular checkups are a relatively inexpensive way to avoid higher costs.
